Hello Everyone

We arrived in Sulawesi 17/2/25  and are currently anchored at Pulau Labengke. A beautiful anchorage but deep, 31 metres with a 100 metres of chain out. It was an interesting trip from Ternate, Island hopping with one overnight passage were we Hove Too for the  first time to avoid hitting logs during the night. Our next destination is Kendari and then down the Selat Buton to Bau Bau to provision for the last leg to Lombok (800 nm).

The next photos are from a small village called Majabi at Pulau Mangoli. The children came out to visit us in a polystyrene box being towed by the canoe. We gave them a bag of lollies and they sat in the box and ate them.

The next photos are from a village called Mbuang Mbuang at Pulau Salue Kecil. We visited the school and spoke to one of the teachers who teaches English. The children were very friendly and showed as were to snorkel to see the Giant Clams, some were at least 1 metre across..

Sunset before we Hove Too. This was Valentines Day. Cheryl is so lucky to spend the night at sea on Valentines Day.

Pulau Umbele

We may make an offer on this cottage.

These barges are everywhere. We have passed them over the last 300 nm. They travel at 2 Knots when loaded.

This our anchorage at Pulau Labengke and Blue Lagoon. What a great swimming hole.
