Hello Everyone
Well we crossed the Singapore Strait which was relatively easy considering the amount of shipping. We sailed up the Johor Strait between Singapore and Malaysia and berthed at the Pinetree Marina to clear into Malaysia which was very easy compared to Indonesia. We only intended to stay for 2 weeks but we had to replace our Gen Set and repair a leaking shower floor. It took 2 weeks for the new Gen Set to be delivered and another week for me to fit it. It was not an easy job. Whilst we were there we did a day trip to Singapore on the bus and train. It was a total of 5 hours travelling. Next time we might take a berth in Singapore. So now we are heading up the Malacca Strait to Langkawi Island for Christmas. The currents are strong and with a North Westerly swell and wind it is a slow passage. We are currently in the Admiral Marina located south of Port Dickson. We only averaged 3.5 Knots for 150 NM passage. Our next marina will be Penang (240 nm) in about 2 weeks time.

The next photos are from Pinetree Marina. The Marina has a resident monkey and huge water lizards.
