Hello Everyone

We had a good passage to Phuket Thailand.  Fishing floats are  still a problem having to be on lookout the whole time when on passage. We estimated on one passage we passed at least 500 fishing flags in 35 Nautical miles. It might sound like a fishing story but we were literally passing float after float. We checked in at Chalong Bay where we were given a 60 day visa which we can extend for a further 30 days. Then  we will have to leave the country.

The photos are from our first island after leaving Langkawi. It was called Ko Li Pi. Great beach, food and cold beer. The boats are called Long Tails because the engine sits on the transom with a long prop shaft. Great for shallow water.

The next photos are from our passage to Ko Phetra. We anchored next to a massive cliff face.

The next photos are from Ko Kradan. Another great anchorage with clear blue water. Unfortunately Thailand also has a rubbish problem. It was good place to clean the hull and do the washing with an  Australia Day BBQ.

The next photos are from our passage to Ko Phi Phi where we again anchored next to a  massive cliff face. The Island is were the movie "The Beach " was filmed and  is a huge tourist attraction. Very crowded, we did not go ashore.

The next photos are from Phuket in a bay called Nai Harn. Yep more great food and cold beer. We visited the Tiger Park and got up close.

Cheryl said she was inside ordering a coffee. I'm not so sure because I've never seen her so happy when she came out. I'm taking her back there tomorrow for more coffee.
