Hello Everyone 

Our Thailand Visa expires on the 2nd April so we are in the process of checking out and heading back to Langkawi which will take about 2 weeks. You will see from the photos that Thailand is a beautiful place to visit.

The photos below are from a Stilt Village called Ko Pan Yi. It sits on the edge of an Island completely over the water. When we were here we hired a Longtail boat to take us on a  tour through the Mangroves. We went through a cave and sore some very old rock paintings (30,000 years old).















































The next photos are from Ko Yao Yai. We anchored in 2 bays on this Island.

  Hello Everyone We have had a wonderful time in Langkawi with friends and family. Rebak Island Marina is one of the best Marinas we have stayed in so far. Happy Hour is everyday from 5 to 9 plus 25% of all meals in the Restaurant because we were staying in the marina. We can see why Yachties never leave here. Where to next. Well we have left Langkawi making our way to Phuket in Thailand over the next 10 days. Its only 120 Nm with Islands to stop at on the way.    Hello Everyone It was a hard slog heading north (450 nm) to our current anchorage at Pulau Dalang which is 8 nm from Rebak Marina in Langkawi. Strong currents with the wind on the nose the whole way. We only averaged 4 Knots for the entire passage.  We also had to dodge fishing nets on a daily basis, constantly on the lookout.  At one overnight anchorage the local fisherman managed to tangle there nets around our keel when they were pulling in there catch at 2100 hours. They tried to free it but in the end they had to cut the net to pull it off the keel. A very tense time. We will be heading to the marina tomorrow where we will be spending Christmas with family.  Hello Everyone We anchored today (9/8/25) in Kumai on the Kumai River in Kalimantan (Borneo). We have sailed 800 nm since we departed Makassar mainly day sailing. But the last 300 nm there were no good anchorages so it was a 65 hour passage dodging fishing huts, Cargo ships and fishing boats. Sailing to Tubo The next photos are from Tubo. We gave Oreo biscuits to the children who came out to the boat. We ended up feeding the whole village.
